Collection: Frances Ferdinands

Frances Ferdinands, born in Sri Lanka, is a Canadian artist who has worked across the world for over 3 decades. Her works are often part of a series, with themes that range from personal to political. Much of her work is held in private collections as well as notable museums such as the Royal Ontario Museum. In 2019, she was commissioned by the Royal Canadian Mint to design the 2019 Gold Multi-Cultural Coin in celebration of diversity. The following year she held her first solo exhibition in London. Frances' work centers around issues close to her heart such as concerns about the social and environmental conditions of post-modern society.
